How to : Super macro

So how do you do it?

You will need a Dslr with a lens. I only tried it with the 18-55mm kit lens, but it will probably work with other lenses as well.

Carefully, and always face down might I add.

And you're good to go. Had to use the pop flash and added the diffuser, just so the picture wouldn't explode.

It's a bit tedious and it might take some time to get the shot. But it's very cool. I am just amazed that you can even do that with the lens.

Though, as interesting as it is, it's probably not a good idea to do this too often. For fear of dust and the likes getting into the camera and dirtying the mirror and sensor.

Macro shots really fascinate me and I am saving to get a macro lens. But this will do for now keke.

You may find it more practical to reverse the 50mm in front of the kit lens - that way you get control over the aperture and can focus and zoom.

albert : Thanks for the tip. Certainly will reduce the chance of dust getting into in.
